How do we design products to have a low embodied carbon footprint?
By closing the loop. Circular design encourages us to rethink our processes and how we make our products. Our goal is to lower the embodied carbon footprint of our products as much as possible by reducing the need to extract raw material in our manufacturing through reclamation and recycling – recycled content to create new products out of old.

CIRCULAR PRODUCTS
ECOWORX
Our carpet tile EcoWorx® backing system is Cradle to Cradle Certified® Silver V4.0 and can be recycled at the end of its useful life.
RECYCLABLE RESILIENT
Through our re[TURN]® reclamation program, we will take back any Shaw made resilient products to be recycled and made back into itself – reinserting ingredient back into product – reducing our reliance on raw material extraction.
ECOSOLUTION Q100 FIBER
Our yarn system uses 100% post-industrial recycled content, helping to lower the carbon footprint of our EcoWorx® carpet tile. Meaning we purchase fewer verified carbon offsets to make our products carbon neutral.
REWORX
Made of a 100% PET that can also be recycled in its entirety, our non-woven composite performs like a hard surface with the comfort of carpet.

BIO-BASED RESILIENT
A collection of PVC-free, bio-based resilient products that are derived from rapidly renewable resources, EcoSystem offers sustainable construction and innovative design. Carbon neutral and with a low embodied carbon footprint, products are designed for positive impact within our spaces today and beyond.
RUNNING LINE CARPET
Our running line carbon-neutral soft surface collections yield a low embodied carbon footprint and are fully recyclable.
